Empowering Individuals to Economic Independence and Self-Sufficiency

Suited for Success / Dress for Success Miami celebrated its 25th anniversary in style with Cirque du Success on October 5 at Jungle Island. Over 350 guests danced and played the night away in support of Suited for Success’s programs empowering men, women, youth, and veterans to economic self-sufficiency.

The cirque began the moment guests stepped off the elevator and were greeted by the ringmaster. Throughout the night, guests were entertained by acrobats, magicians, and fortune tellers, tried their luck at the casino, and enjoyed the photobooths, cigar bar, and make-up touch-up bar by Ulta. Suited for Success founder and executive director Sonia Jacobson and late co-founder Barbara Tifford were honored with a proclamation presented by Miami-Dade County Deputy Mayor Maurice Kemp and Commissioner Sally Heyman before the night’s special guest performer took the stage.

Miami’s own Yoli Mayor (America’s Got Talent) wow-ed the crowd with new original songs and classics, bringing everyone to the dance floor with her performance. Tartara USA and DJ PeeWee kept the dancing going until the end of the night.
